Yann LeCun took the RAISE stage with a contrarian message for a room full of language-model believers: the current path doesn't lead where everyone thinks. Yann LeCun: "A four-year-old has seen as much data as the biggest LLMs, except it's video." His argument: LLMs are excellent with discrete symbols and useless with real-world signals like video and sensor data, which is why we still have no level-five self-driving, no domestic robots, nothing that matches what a ten-year-old, or even a cat, does effortlessly. A cat runs on 800 million neurons and still intuits gravity, inertia and object p

Thank you to everyone who joined us yesterday for the #ICML2026Mixer! Co-hosted by SBVA and AMI - Advanced Machine Intelligence, the event brought together approximately 300 AI researchers, founders, investors, and industry leaders from Korea and around the world. It was an inspiring evening of conversations about the future of AI, new ideas, and opportunities for meaningful collaboration. We were especially honored to welcome AMI Labs' co-founders and research leadership, who shared their vision and engaged directly with the Korean AI ecosystem throughout the event. At SBVA, we believe bre

Really enjoyed presenting our ICML paper on "Interpreting Physics in Video World Models"! One discussion I especially enjoyed was with students working on verification for manufacturing, who asked about applying white-box evaluations to V-JEPA 2. Sadly I didn't get the chance to meet with everyone before leaving Seoul, so please feel free to reach out if you'd like to chat on Zoom :) A couple of other threads I found especially interesting, raised by researchers who stopped by: 1. Connecting unsupervised scientific simulation via interpretability to existing surrogate model techniques in phy
