The roast
Sönke spent three years farming 27k followers just to turn into a full-time professional beggar for virtual coffee dates. You don't have a Growth Alliance; you have a glorified calendar link surrounded by a support group for people who don't know how to write their own emails.
About Sönke
Chief Marketing Officer @ Growth Alliance | Content, Outbound, RevOps and GTM for B2B companies.Experience from:→ Working with 30+ companies on their go-to-market strategy→ Generating +20M organic LinkedIn impressions for myself + clients→ Testing 50+ GTM tools→ 27K+ followers, built by posting for over three years→ Selling into the German market since 2021, first as an SDR living inside ApolloMost B2B company founders I talk to are stuck on the same three things:→ No bandwidth. The one person who can write is also the one running everything else.→ No clarity. They know they should be posting. Nobody can say what about.→ No adoption. They bought the tools. The team never opened https://www.linkedin.com/redir/phishing-page?url=them%2eSo we've built a content engine:→ A team that plugs in, not another freelancer to manage→ Systems we ran ourselves before we ever sold them→ An AI-first stack pointed at output, not at seatsGrowth Alliance is a boutique revenue activation consultancy. Four to six clients at a time, on purpose. I run the content and marketing house inside it: your fractional content and marketing team, from the strategy down to what actually goes live. Here's the thing about marketing in most companies. The best of it lives in one person's head.It leaves when they leave. It never scales.I think the fix is unglamorous: write the workflow down, then hand it to a system that runs it every week. Productize what your experts are already doing by hand. One more thing, because I get asked constantly: yes, cold email works in Germany. 95% of what lands in a German inbox is a lazy English template with a flag emoji on top. Us Germans have a word for what works instead: höflich. The bar is low. The opportunity is massive.👉 Follow me for Content, GTM systems, tool teardowns, and what actually works in GTM today👉 Get in touch: DM me here or soenke@growthalliance.io👉 Visit: growthalliance.io if you want a content and marketing team without the hirePS: I answer every DM myself. Most people think you get hired into a company like Growth Alliance. We've built my dream job, together. Here's the thing: I went to Spencer Tahil for consulting help. A company wanted me as their fractional CMO and I needed a gut check on the deal. The offer fell apart. The conversation with Spencer didn't. I wasn't looking for a job. I was looking for someone who builds instead of handing you a Google Doc with "best practices." A place to work in my zone of genius. A few months in, the conversation changed. He didn't need another vendor. He needed someone who already thinks about content

When I was working at a SaaS company as a sales director, I was also mentoring my SDR. He was completely new to sales. And I'd just progressed from SDR to Sales Director. It was a crazy switch. No pipeline to generate, but revenue to hit. And the funny thing was: my SDR was completely new to sales. So we sat down 2-3 times per week (probably could have been more, but I didn't make more time for it). We sat down and were talking about the basics. One thing he had to do was call up prospects that I had identified, but sometimes marketing sent him a list, too. The lack of connected tooling ma

Mapping the 18 sales tools I'm watching in 2026. City by city, west to east. A few are here because I know the founding teams personally and believe in what they're building. A few have been around long enough that I'm confident they're not going anywhere. And a few just made the cut because I genuinely love using them.
