A CEO pitched me his AI strategy for ten minutes. One question ended it. We were at an event. He was lit up. "We're all in on AI, were building agents. The board loves it." Everyone at the top is doing this right now. It's the new golf. The guys at the club comparing AI initiatives like watches. Who's team is on Claude and why, who's on Gemini, who's got agents doing what. I let him finish. Then I asked the only question that matters. "What system is the AI reading from?" Pause. SAP NEWS: SAP sent 20,000 ECC customers an offer they can't ignore forever. Half your maintenance spend redirected to cloud migration, in exchange for access to SAP's AI roadmap.
