The roast
Molly calls her agency Sitting Pretty, which is fitting for someone whose primary business model is convincing people that standing in front of a mirror and describing their own vanity for a living counts as a B2B strategy. She’s turned LinkedIn into a perpetual motion machine where she hires people to pretend they’re her, so she can pretend she’s still relevant.

I thought I had a good handle on who was doing what, when, and why. I had mapped out who was responsible for every task... In a beautiful space that lived in my head. It worked when: 1. The new employees were at the exact level I needed them to be at. 2. When training took the exact amount of time I had planned for. 3. And w

I have 82k followers and spend less than an hour on LinkedIn every day. Running a personal brand can easily feel like a full time job. But it doesn’t have to be. Break your creative process into 3 steps: ideation, writing/filming, editing (sounds like it’ll take you longer, it won’t). 3. Delete the app from your phone, you don’t need it when you have team keeping an eye on things A personal brand can only become a

I'd sit in a stranger's living room with the telly turned down low so I could hear the baby, watching my phone pop off with some party I couldn't attend. I'm doing exactly that again this summer. Except the reason isn't babysitting, it's the ridiculously long time Portugal are taking to issue me my visa. I came here from Bali in March thinking it would be a piece of cake to get residency because my Grandma is Portuguese. It’s not. 10/10 do NOT recommend. Which means I’ve already missed Amelia So
