adult math is so simple. 10,000 + 10,000 = 20,000. 100 + 50 + 20 = 170. 200 - 150 = 50. 50,000 - 28,000 = 22,000. i still have no idea why school insisted on asking questions like: "if kartik has ₹20,000, spends ₹15,000, receives ₹2,000 from his grandfather and buys five pens worth ₹200 each, find the remaining amount. and using the same information, answer questions 2(a), 2(b), 2(c), 3, 4 and 5."

one thing I've noticed about catching up with friends is that the first fifteen minutes are always weird. everyone asks the same three questions. "what's new?" "nothing... you tell me."
