The roast
Dennis spent years at Deloitte helping companies shape their future, yet his own legacy is a company that had the decency to go bankrupt while he was watching from the sidelines. Now he’s back at bont, teaching European B2B teams how to scale sales using the same gut instinct that cratered his last one.
About Dennis
14 years ago, I realized I didn’t want to be the person who only advised from the sidelines. For years, I worked in strategy consulting at Deloitte, OC&C, and Roland Berger, helping companies shape their futures without ever having to execute the plans myself. At some point, advising stopped being enough. So at 32, I left consulting and decided to build instead. That decision led to 11 years of starting and building jacando. We began as a consumer marketplace. We ended as a full-suite B2B HR SaaS platform.Along the way:- Two pivots- A team of 60- Several hundred customers- Mid-seven-figure ARR- Surviving COVID- A strategic exit in 2022- And the strange experience of watching the company later go bankrupt from the outsideBoth the success and the collapse taught me more than any consulting project ever could. One lesson stuck:→ Scaling sales without clear data is expensive guesswork. At jacando, we ran 100 demos a month to close 15 deals. After we stopped relying on gut feeling and started qualifying based on real signals, we ran 60 demos and closed 20.✅ Fewer meetings✅ More revenue✅ Better decisionsThat shift changed how I see sales forever. So in 2024, I co-founded bont with Nik.bont is a sales operating system for B2B teams that want to know what’s actually happening in their pipeline, not what their reps think is happening. We connect CRM, ERP, and customer engagement data into one clear view so sales teams can act on facts, not hope.We work with B2B companies from 50 to 10,000 employees, usually when the Head of Sales or CEO is tired of explaining missed forecasts. If that sounds familiar, we should talk.DM me or book 15 minutes here:https://cal.com/dennis-teichmann-bont/sos-25-mins

AI is reshaping high skilled white collar jobs first. Not the low skill jobs most people expected. Think about it: - Lawyers use AI to draft contracts. - Consultants use AI to build market research. - Sales teams use AI to find, qualify, and contact prospects. Anthropic’s March 2026 Economic Index found that 49% of jobs already have at least a quarter of their tasks performed using Claude. This is already happening at task level. Automated outreach can now create consistent pipeline from work that used to require a dedicated SDR. - More reliable output. - Lower cost. - Fewer manual steps
