About Justin

If you know me, you probably know me as CuzzinJustin. Since I was a kid, that name has stuck because I genuinely believe I am everyone's cousin. As silly as that sounds, it has shaped how I build relationships, how I lead, and how I show up in every room I walk into. I am the Co Founder and CEO of Cause of a Kind, a full stack, full service product development studio and startup igniter based in New York. Since 2016, my partner Mike Rispoli and I have helped founders, startups, and iconic brands go from idea to market with software and creative solutions that actually move the needle. We help cool people build great products. That is not a tagline. That is the filter we run every opportunity through. Over 15 years, I have had the privilege of advising on product marketing, SEO, product development, and digital strategy for brands like Marriott, Disney, The Home Depot, Amazon, Salesforce, Oracle, Columbia, Marvel, BlackRock, Harley Davidson, and literally dozens more of the most recognizable logos on the planet. That experience now fuels everything we build at Cause of a Kind and across our portfolio companies, including finforecasting.com and uncal.xyz, and many other portfolio projects. I am also the Co-Host of the Strictly From Nowhere podcast experiment, inclusive of the shows, Strictly From Nowhere, Forward To Extraordinary, CTO Confidential, Saas K*llers and The Stand Up, where, together and seperately, Mike and I document the real, unfiltered journey of bootstrapping a business, maintaining a nearly 20 year friendship, and trying to figure it all out along the way, while interviewing exceptional people, and collecting wisdom to share along the way. We recently crossed 110,000 subscribers on YouTube, and we are just getting started. Outside of work, I am a husband, a father, and an outdoorsman who has been known to summit mountains, surf, snowboard, scuba dive, rock climb, cycle, and golf. I chase experiences the same way I chase building things that matter. I spend my days fighting for my time in history, shaping what comes next, and helping other founders do the same.
