The roast
Colin calls himself The AI Marketing Guy, yet he has a lower engagement rate than a dial-up modem trying to connect to a disconnected line. He promises to land premium clients for others while his own metrics suggest his only actual client is the bot farm he clearly purchased on sale.

Only 3 to 7% of your market is in a buying window right now. The other 93% aren't ignoring you because your message is bad. They're ignoring you because they don't need the thing today. This is why outreach feels like shouting into a void. You're sending the right message to mistimed people. A signal is just timing. Something that says this account is worth your attention now. A new revenue leader, fresh funding, a sales hire, fast growth. It points you at the slice of the market that's actually open. Most teams pick targets by who fits the profile. I built buildings before I sold anything. So when I hit the wall, I didn't try to push harder. I built a system underneath me. It watches the accounts, flags the signals, & keeps a running list of who to follow up with today. It surfaces the work instead of me hunting for it. Same two person team. 1,000 to 2,000 account

Opening a door always was. The hard part comes after. Working the whole committee, over months, without dropping anyone. The deal doesn't die at the demo. It dies in month 4, over one person you never followed up with. I've seen it plenty. A strong first meeting, real interest, then weeks of "just checking in" that carry no reason, until the buyer goes cold & nobody can say exactly when it happened. The booke
