About Rohit
AI and data has been the throughline of my career for over two decades, from early machine learning research to building enterprise-scale AI functions at some of the world's largest institutions. At Lloyds Banking Group, I lead AI across Consumer, Commercial, and Insurance, setting the Group's AI strategy, operating model, and delivery agenda as part of its 2030 vision. The work spans responsible AI, agentic systems, and delivery as an integrated capability model.Prior to Lloyds, I spent five years at AWS leading the Asia Pacific Data & AI strategy practice, and earlier held senior roles at Accenture, SAS, Deloitte, and IBM across Australia, Singapore and South East Asia. I hold a PhD in Artificial Intelligence from the University of Sydney.External roles: HM Treasury AI Champion for Financial Services · Microsoft AI Advisory Board · Bank of England AI Consortium · Non-Executive Director, AG Barr plc.For media and PR enquiries, please contact the Lloyds Banking Group press office: mediarelationsteam@lloydsbanking.com
