The roast
Ragen runs a boutique consultancy called Strategy with Soul, which explains why she’s the only person in history to treat marketing for a degree-mill university like she’s managing a spiritual retreat. With an engagement rate lower than the graduation rate at Nexford, her SOUL Framework is clearly just a creative way to spell irrelevance.
About Ragen
I’m a full-stack marketing leader and founder, building growth engines that scale startups into industry contenders. Currently Head of Marketing, I lead the full marketing spectrum—demand gen, brand, content, product marketing, RevOps, and creative—with one goal: making marketing a direct driver of revenue and reputation. I also run Strategy with Soul, my boutique consultancy where I bring Fortune 500 frameworks and a decade of hypergrowth SaaS expertise to emerging companies. Through fractional leadership and sprint engagements, I help founders and executive teams turn messy GTM motions into modern, soul-infused strategies that actually deliver pipeline and brand equity. Across both worlds, I’ve: Built demand gen, RevOps, and marketing ops functions from scratch Launched global brand campaigns and thought-leadership platforms Driven measurable pipeline impact with hybrid attribution models Scaled cross-functional teams through frameworks, not fluff Used marketing as a lever for both growth and equity At my core, I merge data discipline with creative disruption. I believe marketing isn’t just about generating leads—it’s about building systems that buyers trust, teams can scale, and companies can rally around. And I bring more than numbers to the table. As a DEI advocate, I believe marketing leaders have a responsibility to use their platforms to elevate diverse voices and challenge the status quo.

im a Head of Marketing. and a few people pay me every month to tell them the truth about their marketing. some people would call that a side hustle. I call it professional cross-training. in my full-time role, I’m leading a team, managing budgets, building pipeline, navigating stakeholders, and making decisions at scale. in my advisory work, there is nowhere to hide. no massive team. no complicated tech stack. no “we’ll revisit this next quarter.” just a marketing leader or business owner asking: what is broken? what should we do next? and will it actually make us money? moving betw

I spent years being told what I wasn’t. “You don’t have the demand gen skills.” “Marketing Ops professionals don’t become Heads of Marketing or CMOs.” But the people who had actually worked beside me told a very different story: “Ragen is a dangerous demand gen queen.” “Ragen can flip a switch on strategy.” “Ragen knows how to build pipeline.” I still blush when people say things like that. Marketing has always made sense to me in a way I struggle to explain. I’ve been a creative for as long as I’ve understood what creativity was. I see connections quickly. I can look at a strategy, sp
