20,277 demo leads later, here are some of the biggest findings for...what does a demo actually cost on LinkedIn Ads? ⠀ I just analysed $8.25M in spend across 268 accounts over 12 months to find out. Here are 5 things I learned from analysing $8.4M in LinkedIn Thought Leader Ad spend over 12 month... ⠀ 1️⃣ Video is expensive for landing page traffic ⠀ Single Image CPC, $13.51 ⠀ Video CPC, $32.34 ⠀ Video was around 2.4x more expensive. ⠀ If the goal is landing page traffic, start with Single Image. ⠀ Use video for education, familiarity and content consumption inside LinkedIn. ⠀ 2️⃣ Refresh creative based on frequency ⠀ Engagement was already down around 9% at roughly 1x frequency. ⠀ As frequency climbs, engagement falls. ⠀ Rough guide: ⠀ Under 10k audience, refresh around every 2 weeks. ⠀

We recently finished a massive study on a dataset of $8.4 million spent on thought leader ads within 100s of accounts, mostly in the USA and UK (some in Europe). Finally we have a more nuanced, conclusive, data-based conclusion... Brand awareness on cold audiences of 30k or more. It reaches 184% more people per dollar at a 59% lower CPM, and the cost per engagement is about the same. This is the only place it wins. En
