About Chris
Over the past 25 years, I’ve found my sweet spot right at the intersection of marketing, product, and sales. I love taking complex concepts and scaling them into successful, high-growth businesses. As Chief Marketing Officer at Twilio, I lead our global marketing strategy. I operate from the belief that B2B marketing does not have to be boring. The real excitement comes from rejecting safe, stale playbooks, and taking the kind of creative risks that actually connect with real people. At the end of the day we’re still selling to people. My mission is to show how we help companies build amazing customer experiences.Behind the strategy is an incredible team. I’m passionate about building world-class marketing organizations, fostering an inclusive, high-performing culture, and mentoring the next generation of builders. My toolkit is a mix of data and creativity—spanning customer analytics, product marketing, customer success, and account management. I’m also a bit of a data nerd, backed by Harvard’s Business Analytics Program and a marketing degree from George Mason University.

Incredible experience last week watching the Ecuador vs. Germany World Cup match! If you know me, you know I am a huge football (soccer?) fan and this was truly an amazing experience. The energy in the stadium was unreal. It was also great to connect with some great customers and builders from companies like Bank of America, Humana, Columbia Records, and Sony Music Entertainment. Who are you rooting for to win the whole thing? Go Team USA!

This week I had the honor of ringing the bell at NYSE to celebrate ten years of Twilio being a public company. To our Wise Owls, the teammates who have been on this wild ride for over ten years, and the 5,500 employees shaping our next chapter: you built this. This milestone belongs to everyone who ever wrote a line of code, supported a customer, or pushed us to innovate. I can’t wait to see what we build next 🚀
