The roast
Ana-Maria claims to be an expert in building narratives that cut through the noise, yet she spends her days posting into a void so quiet it makes the silence after a funeral look like a concert. She calls herself a VP at GetVocal, which is the perfect title for someone whose primary skill is talking at people who have no intention of listening.
About Ana-Maria
Hi, I'm Ana I started my career in Clinical Psychology. Which let, naturally, to marketing. I build: - Narratives for complex technology that cut through the noise. - Positioning that earns trust instead of demanding attention. - Pipelines and teams in markets where neither existed before. Right now, I'm doing that at GetVocal - because in an AI market full of bold claims and black-box promises, the most radical thing a company can do is be genuinely accountable. Human oversight isn't a limitation of AI. It's the whole point. Having spent years inside the conversational AI space, I don't guess what makes buyers skeptical. I know what changes their mind. If you're thinking about AI, trust, or what it actually takes to build a brand people believe in - let's connect.

It's starting to feel less like personal branding and less like coincidence, more like a boy band from the '90s nobody remembers forming. Choreography's coming next.

Ford just spent three years rehiring the same engineers it didn't need anymore. Not because the AI was bad at its job. Because the AI was never taught the job in the first place. The tacit, undocumented judgment calls a 30-year veteran makes without writing them down anywhere. You can't train a model on knowledge nobody bothered to capture. Turns out "we let go of the people who knew things" and "we digitized institutional knowledge" are not the same project, even though they get pitched in the same slide. Ford calls them "gray beard" engineers now. Officially. They're not there to do the w
