Ernie brands himself a Billion Dollar expert, which explains why he has the reach of a garage sale and the engagement rate of a landline telephone. He’s the only person in the world who thinks a company called ernburn is a branding triumph rather than a cry for a dermatologist.
About Ernie
I grew up in southeast Idaho with nine brothers... That's not a typo, so life was loud, competitive, a little chaotic, and honestly pretty awesome. (Cue violin sounds for mom.) When I was eleven years old, I discovered I had a knack for drawing after mom put our only TV in the garage. Making great looking drawings garnered positive attention and that fueled a passion to become excellent. That passion turned into a career that began as a professional illustrator and quickly evolved to design, creative direction, marketing and branding. I'm on a mission to help businesses stand out, connect with people, and stop sounding like everyone else. And use AI to make it faster, easier and, better. Because let’s be honest: boring brands suck. They drain energy from teams, waste money on advertising, and disappear into the noise. Great brands elicit emotion, create connection, and attract business like crazy. I freakin' love that! I help organizations build awesome brands with more clarity, more personality, and more fire. I also help teams leverage AI in practical ways to create faster, think bigger, and market smarter without losing the human part that actually matters. These days, I do that as a brand strategist, author, keynote speaker, workshop leader, entrepreneur, and creative director. I love big challenges, creative thinking, and helping people bring bold ideas to life. I believe marketing should be authentic, remarkable, and exciting. I believe strong brands change everything. And I believe a little freakin’ courage to stand out can make a business extremely successful. Message me to speak to your organization or help you build your brand strategy.

The tale of Maverik's taco transformation is a lesson in quality and customer loyalty. Rich Green, a true foodie, launched a taco program with the most delicious corn tortillas imaginable, turning every visit into a taco trip for many, including myself. But when a cost-saving measure meant swapping those irresistible tortillas for a lower quality, the magic was lost. The lesson? Never compromise on quality after setting high expectations. Know your customers and deliver products they'll crave and love consistently. It’s not just about saving costs; it’s about sustaining that special connec
