The roast
Kate claims to be an expert in owned media strategy, yet she hasn't bothered to post on her own channel in thirty days. It’s comforting to know the Content Strategist at Zendrop treats her personal brand with the same neglect as a discarded landing page.
About Kate
With earned media shrinking, 𝐨𝐰𝐧𝐞𝐝 𝐦𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐚 𝐛𝐞𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐬 𝐫𝐞𝐩𝐮𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧, where people decide: “Is the company legit?” “Do they understand my problem?” “Do I trust them?” “Are they real humans or AI blather?” I'm a storyteller, but not the vague corporate kind. I'm a marketer (7+ years) who interviews your customers, finds out what makes them buy, and writes the content that gets them there. The industries I write about (cross-border payments, identity and access management, and workflow automation) are not simple. My job is to make them feel relatable. Recent client wins: ✨ Grew Airtm’s enterprise newsletter (“The Global Pay Report”) from 0 → 5,000+ subscribers in 8 editions ✨ 689K → 2.7M LinkedIn impressions/month, inbound leads 31 → 80, in 4 months for a fintech client ✨ 6.5K → 25K enterprise homepage sessions/month, mostly organic social, for a fintech client ✨ 5 → 63 top 3 keyword rankings in one year (+649% organic clicks), for an ad agency ✨ Homepage rewrite & design: +16% engagement, +39% conversions in two weeks, for a workflow automation client ✨ Flagged & helped prioritize homepage accessibility fixes that led to a 50% improvement What I do best: 𝐒𝐄𝐎-𝐢𝐧𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐦𝐞𝐝, 𝐧𝐨𝐭 𝐒𝐄𝐎-𝐨𝐛𝐬𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐞𝐝: Using Ahrefs and Moz, I research the terms people search to find your business, but if the best story won’t win traditional search or LLMs, I’ll write it anyway, because it’ll win your audience. 𝐂𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐫-𝐛𝐚𝐜𝐤𝐞𝐝 𝐦𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐚𝐠𝐢𝐧𝐠: Interviews & research (what they want, what stops them, the words they use) → language that turns interest into inquiries. 𝐍𝐚𝐫𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐝𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧: problem → stakes → why you → proof → next step. 𝐌𝐮𝐥𝐭𝐢-𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐦𝐚𝐭 𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐲𝐭𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐠: one story → posts, emails, case studies, visuals, video scripts 𝐋𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧: Intriguing graphics & tight short-form edits. 𝐀𝐈 𝐚𝐬 𝐚 𝐬𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐤𝐢𝐜𝐤, 𝐧𝐨𝐭 𝐦𝐲 𝐛𝐫𝐚𝐢𝐧: AI for research & options. Human wisdom runs the show. 𝐄𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐲 𝐛𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐡𝐚𝐬 𝐚 𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐲. 𝐋𝐞𝐭'𝐬 𝐛𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐬 𝐭𝐨 𝐥𝐢𝐟𝐞. 🪄✨ If your team needs a storyteller who can find the truth, shape it, and ship it, message me.(Also: I sing opera and shoot photos - handy training for holding attention and noticing what most people miss. BTW: If ever your clients put your (human-written) copy through an AI checker and claim you lied, show them this: These checkers are so inaccurate, they flag the bible as being 98.8% GPT 😂 (I can't take credit for this, it was my wonderful Momentum member Hannah Gamonez who shared it with our Slack group, but it felt too funny not to share)

I didn’t realize Google Trends had a "Live Bio-Feed" feature. But this trend graph for the term "hypertension" is a 1:1 match for my blood pressure this Friday. If your blood pressure is currently outperforming your KPIs, consider this your sign to stop "circling back" and start circling the park. We clearly all need it.
