The #1 reason circular economy doesn’t work? I don’t think it is because people don’t care. And I don’t think it is because we don’t have enough ideas. The problem is that we keep looking for the one single solution. And of course, everyone claims their solution is the one. Recycling will solve it. Cleanups will solve it. Bioplastics will solve it.
