About Judene
Judene wears many hats. She is a partner with the a16z Cultural Leadership Fund (CLF). CLF connects the world’s greatest cultural leaders to the best new technology companies and advances Black builders and creators in the technology industry. Judene is also the co-founder & CEO at CHIENET - a strategy, marketing, and operations company; and COO and Co-Founder of RootsxWings - a digital media company focused on highlighting the stories and identities of young Black girls and Black people who identify with any, some, or all of these categories: women, which non-binary people, and agender people between the age of 13 and 20. Judene is a member of the All Raise Los Angeles Steering Committee and a board member of the Los Angeles Chapter of Best Buddies. Judene is a professional dancer by training, holding dual-bachelors in Theatre & Dance and Sociology from Trinity College, Hartford, CT, an MFA in choreography and performance from Mills College, and an MBA from The University of North Carolina Kenan-Flagler Business School (Go Tar Heels!). Judene is a proud Jamaican immigrant and Brooklyn native that lives by a simple mission. She aims to do all she can to create, improve, and sustain positive generational changes for her community.
