The roast
Jovan claims his career goal is to be an island caretaker, which is the only way to explain how he manages to post 50 times a month about saving lives while nobody is actually listening. He calls his company Better, but given the engagement rate on his "mentorship," his presence is purely elective.
About Jovan
I always wanted to be a DJ, a high school teacher, and a football manager. Ideally an island caretaker doing all three. Nothing to do with my current work, but one can dream. Shortly, I am a: father, son, LEGO collector, friend, gamer, mentor, mentee, extrovert, (occasional) introvert - an animal declaring as a human. A 15+ years career in a nutshell: banking, broadcasting, #healthcare, and energy. All in IT. B2B international marketing, sales and product development. Worked with a number of amazing people globally on a range of projects. Now "stuck" in healthcare, and simply loving it. In banking, you make money look nice, in broadcasting, your next favorite tv show recommended. In healthcare, you make lives Better. (Pun intended) The ways how technology can improve our lives, and the legacy we will leave behind - it took me over. The mix of industries, work environments, and cultures built my ability to understand "the different" and to adapt. Having worked in family businesses, I have learned the importance of company values and culture. Addicted to trying, failing, learning - curious by design. Challenging the default and status quo. One thought for you: Always have a mentor by your side, to push you beyond what you think can and can't do. One questions for you: What do you dream about? P.S. Get your kids LEGO, they will thank you later.

The strongest objection to Executable Clinical Governance is "it's too slow." I want to address it directly, because if you've followed this series and held that objection in your head, you're not wrong about the symptom. You're wrong about the cause. The objection usually sounds like this: "Getting clinical communities to agree on archetypes takes years. We don't have years. The hospital needs a working system in 18 months. Vendor consolidation, one EHR for the whole region, is pragmatic. But your model is idealistic." Three responses. 👉🏼 One: Speed comparisons are dishonest if they do
