The roast
Corina Taban’s company is named 934 Leadership Advisors, which is the exact number of LinkedIn posts you have to read before realizing she’s just charging companies five figures to tell them that people stop working when they stop liking their boss. She spent years at Meta and Microsoft learning how to manufacture corporate complexity just so she could sell the cure for a disease she helped invent.
About Corina
Most leadership training was built for a world that no longer exists.Stable markets. Predictable change. That’s not what you’re dealing with anymore.Today, companies are operating in constant volatility:AI is accelerating decisions faster than leaders can process them,Teams disengaging while appearing functional,Top performers are losing motivation before anyone notices, And managers default to control because it feels safer than uncertainty.Underneath all this, decision quality drops. Ownership blurs. Discretionary effort disappears. And momentum slows in ways that don’t show up in performance reviews. Until the best people leave. But if you look closer at the past few weeks:🔹 The initiative that should have moved faster🔹 The decision that sat just long enough🔹 The project that kept progressing slowly🔹 The moments where your strongest people hesitatedThis is where most organizations misdiagnose the problem. They assume: more training, better frameworks, clearer communication.Well, that’s when I come in.Companies bring me in to:→ recover months of lost execution every year by removing the hesitation, rework, and second-guessing that slow everything down.→ compress decisions that drag for weeks into days, without increasing risk.→ turn alignment into something that holds under pressure.→ reduce dependency on a few key thinkers, so clarity and momentum don’t bottleneck at the top.→ increase the quality of decisions at the exact moments they matter most, when uncertainty and stakes are high.→ rebuild the ownership and commitment that make people want to solve problems.→ make existing talent move like a sharper, faster system, without adding headcount, process, or complexity. All backed by the latest science and performance research. 👉 When this becomes a priority for your organization, my DMs are open. For collaborations, you can reach out to hello@corinataban.com.--------Corina is the founder of 934 Leadership Advisors, a company that advises on and builds bespoke research-backed leadership training for international tech companies navigating complexity and growth. I usually charge for this kind of advisory. Tomorrow, I’m opening 4 free 1:1 slots. Every first Thursday of the month, 1pm CET, I open office hours for people who need help, advice, or simply want to connect. I’m still experimenting with the format. This month, I’m keeping it smaller: one-on-one conversations only. Bring a challenge you’re stuck on. A decision you’re wrestling with. An idea you want honest feedback on. I don’t know yet if this is the final format. I do know the best conversations tend to happen in smaller rooms. 4 slots. That’s it. Book yours here ↓ 1. https://lnkd.in

Companies obsess over AI productivity gains. But they are missing a critical aspect. I can’t stop thinking about Guy Champniss, Ph.D. MBA recent HBR piece. He identifies six forms of psychological debt from AI adoption: 𝐂𝐨𝐠𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐝𝐞𝐛𝐭 → outsourcing hard thinking to AI leads to losing cognitive and decision-making skills. 𝐀𝐮𝐭𝐨𝐧𝐨𝐦𝐲 𝐝𝐞𝐛𝐭 → losing a sense of agency over how work gets done. (agency = key source of motivation) 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐞𝐭𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐲 𝐝𝐞𝐛𝐭 → the feeling that the more AI helps, the less capable we become. 𝐑𝐞𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐝𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐝𝐞𝐛𝐭 → fewer human
