The roast
Ashleigh claims she sleeps with her MacBook to stay innovative, which explains why she’s only managed eighteen engagements in a month—it’s hard to build a brand when your primary business partner is a lithium-ion battery. Between the chakra-balancing and the invasive raccoon DNA, she’s essentially running a consulting firm for thoughts that haven't had a decent meal in weeks. Snatch Health isn’t a management consultancy; it’s a creative writing workshop that forgot to invite an audience.
About Ashleigh Marie
A Gallup leadership assessment once informed me “you are part artist and part scientist - and comfortable working at the intersection of both”. Wait--does Gallup have spies? Are they Deep State?? Part geek and part bohemian, I'm just as likely to begin a long email or blog post at 3A as I am to be down a rabbit hole about the mitochondrial DNA of invasive raccoons (true story). The takeaway here: I sleep with my Macbook. Topline: - Writer + master communicator. Folks often think my education is Comms; it’s actually English Lit & Creative Writing. - Warm but rarely measured. Shoot from the hip and keep my throat chakra open. And yes - get to know me well enough and I'll probably mention a chakra. Or two. - I take my work very seriously; rarely take myself seriously. Cheek knows tongue. - When I believe in something, I'm like a collie with a bone. Life and work can be summed up under two themes for me: STORY + STRATEGY. As a storyteller, I've been fortunate to enjoy parallel careers as a writer/creative and an executive/clinical administrator in Assisted Reproductive Technology. Equally passionate about both, and despite Frostian posits about two roads diverged in a wood, I've never been able to take just one. My overarching mission is to optimize the life experience by engineering narratives + creating solutions that fuel profound connection. I'm open to all this can mean. I refer to myself as a "baby-making enthusiast" + "family-building evangelist", and am particularly passionate about the mission of affording all women better family-forming options. ▶︎ 𝐄𝐗𝐄𝐂. Been in Assisted Reproductive Technology since 2008, work that's made me deeply aware of the intimate relationship between educating women about their remarkable biology and empowering them to live well in all areas of life. ▶︎ 𝐖𝐑𝐈𝐓𝐄𝐑. As a creative, I’ve been privileged to work in the advertising, tech, and production spaces with brands such as 310 Nutrition, Pax Labs, Koi Story Studios, Walden Media, Hallmark, WW, Shea Moisture, and Nike. I founded CLAIRE Fertility to address the delta between clinical fertility treatment and women’s comprehensive wellness. Then I co-founded Snatch Health to address the unfortunate side effects of innovating as a woman, for women. I’m embarrassingly zealous about FemTech and all the brilliant solutions it’s birthing to improve women's health. Always available to chat about ways I can work with others to improve clinical, cultural, and societal experiences for women + families. Ping me: ashleigh@snatchhealth.com

We're hiring at Mamaya Health — and this one is close to my heart. 🌱 We're looking for a Provider Outreach Consultant to help us grow our provider network and bring more women into care at the moments they need it most — fertility, pregnancy, postpartum, and perimenopause. This role is for someone who genuinely believes that women deserve better mental health support, and who knows how to build real relationships with providers and health systems to make that happen. At Mamaya Health, you won't be selling something you don't believe in. You'll be connecting clinicians to a model of care tha

This is incredible, and I know it’s not the only example of a common screening that’s able to be examined for health concerns additional to the one for which it’s commonly prescribed. Here’s praying more of these connections are discovered, explored, and put into practice by more brave healthcare systems. We deserve it.

This is a HUGE deal. For the first time, one of the biggest philanthropic investments in women's health includes menopause. Melinda French Gates just announced $215 million in new funding, and she's going straight at the gap: less than 1% of aging research even studies this phase of life that every single woman goes through. This is what it looks like when someone refuses to let half the population be invisible. Grateful for your work, Melinda and Pivotal.
