The most dangerous number in enterprise AI is 44%. Bain & Company just surveyed 951 companies over $100M in revenue. Among those actually measuring AI cost savings, 40% reported reductions of 10% or less. Only 4% cleared 30%. Disappointing, sure. But that's not the part that should change how you plan. Just a note to those people who have FOMO when it comes to AI Most products in this industry are an absolute garbage that give absolutely 0 economic value. Considering the time spent, they give a negative value. Dashboards, pointless visualizations, dumb things that do not lead you from a point A to a point B. Also another note: AI aggregates, extracting good quality from it is very hard if you do not have infrastructure and methodology... In practice this means that you have to feed it well for it to give good output, otherwise it will just give you an average of mediocre to good thing
